New for 2011! This season Easton introduces a new hybrid two-piece bat called the Convert. Made with a 7050 Aircraft Alloy barrel with an IMX Composite Handle, this bat is made for performance. The 7050 Aircraft Alloy on the extended barrel is not only durable, but provides for a huge trampoline effect. The IMX or Integrated Matrix Technology strengthens and optimizes the composite structure, giving you a bat with extraordinary performance and extreme durability. features Easton's patented ConneXion Design System which optimizes performance using "hinge" technology for efficient energy transfer and flex. The ConneXion design seperates the barrel from the handle which creates an expanded hitting surface and completely eliminates any chance of sting or vibration. The 29/32 Inch tapered handle provides for regular handle flex and a cushioned grip for excellent control. With a 1.15 BPF and a 2 1/4 inch barrel diameter, this bat is approved for play in all major youth leagues including Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie Youth, Pony, AABC, and USSSA.
